What's the diffence between SureCoat & ClassicCoat?
SureCoat is the same as ClassicCoat. The Pros & Cons of Classic Coat compared to Sure Coat are:
1/Classic Coat comes in aerosol can. So it's less messy to apply and yields a smoother, professional finish than foam brush application.
2/Classic Coat Color is matched with Auto Maker: Ford, GM, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Acura, BMV.... So you'll have an exact color match. Meaning you'll have a perfect refinish every time with little effort. Color match is the most important for a sucessful finish.
3/Classic Coat has much less color selections than SureCoat. However, you can order order custom color with Classic Coat, it costs $8 more per can to place order with custom color. Because of the limited color selection, Classic Coat are primarily geared toward refinish car seats. While Surecoat are widely used for broader choices of furniture color, sofa, couch, loveseat, chairs...
4/Classic Coat is prepacked in aerosol can, nothing else can be added inside the can. Surecoat comes in bottle. So you can custom mix it with other Surecoat colors to achieve your desired color. You can add hardener to Surecoat to increase surface durability. You can add Reducer to Surecoat to thin the coating for easier spraying (if spraygun is used). Surecoat can be applied by foam brush, OR spray gun. Spray gun always yield a smoother, even, professional finish than foam brush.
