Colour 142 (also called High Coverage Colour or HC Colour) is a water-based, pigmented colour with a high covering capacity.
Colour 142 is a direct off-spin of the tannery industry. Its formula varies very little from that of the colours used by tanneries to create pigmented leather.
It is ideal for large repairs or full restorations. It is also the product you would use to change the colour of leather, or to convert aniline leather to pigmented leather.
Colour 142 is pure pigment with no added extras, so you will need to apply a pre-bottom and top-finish to achieve proper adhesion and rub resistance.
